India performed its first simulated space warfare exercise on 25 and 26 July 2019, known as IndSpaceEx. Satellites have been used for the reason that 1950s for Earth commentary, first by governments with reconnaissance missions shrouded in secrecy, but more and more now also by industrial providers and by a rising community of open-supply analysts.
